The community that never existed — until now.
For decades, revenue operations professionals in the legal industry have done sophisticated, high-stakes work without a dedicated home — no peer network built specifically for them, no knowledge hub that reflects their reality, no room where the actual decision-makers gather together.
RevX was built to be that room: a peer network, a knowledge hub, dedicated platform user groups, topical discussion forums, and a trusted professional home — all in one place, built specifically for legal revenue professionals.
RevX is not a conference. It is not a vendor-led community. It is not a general association with thousands of loosely connected members. It is a controlled, high-trust community of practitioners who are intentional about where they show up.

RevX sits at that intersection.
And the playbook no longer reflects how the work actually gets done.
RevX is where the professionals responsible for revenue performance come to exchange insight, challenge assumptions, and advance the work.
Not theory. Not recycled best practices. Operators. In the work. Moving it forward.
When revenue professionals come together, everyone moves forward.

The premier professional home for legal revenue leaders.

He went looking for a professional community. There wasn't one.
In 2007, John fulfilled a long-held dream. Having completed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, Chicago had always called to him professionally — and when the opportunity arose to join a large Chicago law firm in a revenue operations role, he answered it, commuting by Amtrak from the Milwaukee area. And he did what most professionals do when entering a new field: he looked for a professional community. Peers who understood the work. A place to ask hard questions, compare notes, and learn from people navigating the same terrain. He found that no such association existed for revenue operations professionals in law firms.
So he built one himself. He created a Google Group called Law Firm Credit & Collections — a loose but active network that grew to more than 250 members, mostly Chicago colleagues at first, then professionals at firms across the country as his network expanded. It was informal, imperfect, and entirely peer-driven. And it worked. People showed up because they needed it.
He became deeply engaged in the broader professional community — serving as an officer and Past President of ALA Chicago, and now as Chair of the National Association of Credit Management (NACM) Connect Law Firm Forum, a national association of legal credit and collections professionals. Through writing, speaking, and peer collaboration, one conviction kept deepening: the communities built around shared professional experience are where real change happens.
RevX is the culmination of everything that started with that Google Group. Not a loose network, but a purpose-built professional home — with the infrastructure, the standards, and the community that legal revenue professionals have always deserved. It is founded on a simple but powerful belief: that when revenue operations professionals come together, everyone moves forward.
Outside the office, John enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also volunteers with his certified therapy dog, Leo, an English Cream Golden Retriever — visiting nursing homes, schools, colleges, libraries, and workplaces, bringing comfort, connection, and moments of joy to the communities they serve.

A High-Trust, Curated Membership
RevX will never trade quality for scale. Membership is verified and intentional — ensuring every voice in the room belongs to someone who owns the work, not someone adjacent to it.
The Knowledge Infrastructure the Profession Lacks
A living library of benchmarks, playbooks, templates, and decision frameworks — member-driven and expert-informed, curated by RevX to reflect how legal revenue operations actually works.
Candid Peer Conversation at Scale
Discussion forums and platform user groups where members talk candidly about what's working, what's breaking, and what the industry needs to do differently. No vendor spin. No recycled panels.
Programming Built for Operators
Events, roundtables, and content built around the real pressures legal revenue professionals face — not the surface-level conversations that dominate general legal industry conferences.
A Platform That Grows With You
RevX is launching with a founding cohort from leading U.S. law firms — and building toward a global community that includes firms across the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and EMEA. Along the way, a talent marketplace, job board, and peer network give legal revenue professionals the tools to grow — not just laterally, but upward — and to be found by firms that recognize the value of what they do.

This isn't another association. It's where the people who run revenue finally have a room of their own — built for you, and with you. Your input, suggestions, and feedback don't just matter — they shape the future of this organization. This is your professional home, and we want to make sure you achieve your professional goals.
Let's connect.
RevX is built for practitioners -- and it should reflect what practitioners needs. If you have feedback, a suggestion, or an idea for how to make this community better, send it along. We take it seriously. Reach the founder directly at founder@revXconnects.com.
